Termite Inspection

Where Do Termites Come From?

Termites cover vast distances by swarming from existing well established nests.

Literally thousands of winged King and Queen termites, known as 'alates', swarm twice a year, around November and March and usually before, during or after a thunderstorm.

Termite roof damageThey land, drop their wings, find a mate and immediately look for shelter to begin a new colony.

To survive they need food (timber/celluose) and moisture.

1. Untreated Railway Sleepers
2. Trees – Alive or Dead
3. Old Tree Root Systems
4. Tree Stumps
5. Palm Stumps
6. Logs
7. Subfloors
8. Filled in Patios
9. Under the Brick Fireplaces
10. Faulty Plumbing Areas
11. Firewood
12. Decorative Garden Timbers
13. Stored Timbers
14. Scrap Timbers
15. Garden Mulch
16. Compost Heaps
17. Concealed or Buried Timbers
